I’ve made progress during the last month in a few areas, although I have to admit that it doesn’t feel like I’m progressing very quickly. Plus, looking at the wheel of life, it doesn’t look like it is getting any more balanced.
In terms of health, I have started exercising regularly and improving the quality of my diet. I am not rushing in to a big diet and exercise programme, instead I am taking it slowly and concentrating on developing a habit. I have also seen a chiropodist about my feet as my doctor suggested I had lots of problems with my feet, but great news, the chiropodist suggested they aren’t too bad.
My husband and I have done well recently meeting up with friends and family. We spent a long weekend with my parents and have one with my inlaws starting today. We have also been to visit friends and met up with others at Twickenham (my first visit to the home of English rugby).
And finally, I have made some progress on developing my goals as I have completed the first exercise from the Goal Setting College tutorial. This has been a real eye opener for me and I will write a post describing some of my finding soon.
Now I’ve started making progress I am hoping this will pick up momentum over the next few months.
My name is Kate Davis and I'm working towards a happier and successful life and this blog follows my journey. I work almost full time as an environmental consultant and project manager and I'm the mother to a beautiful two year daughter.

Kate, congratulations on making the progress. Don’t worry about the speed. What matters is that you’re already doing what most people don’t : identifying your goals.
Cheers,
Ellesse
Thank you for the encouragement Ellesse.
I’ve looked at your tutorial so many times, it is good to have finally finished the first exercise, hopefully now I’ve got the motivation to keep moving forward.
