Not exactly a great start to these monthly reviews by missing two months. I’m still working on getting used to working full time and with a longer commute and unfortunately it is my blogger time that has suffered the most. However, I hope I’m on the cusp of getting back to a more balanced routine.
Improving my sleep
My only resolution this year is to improve my sleep and last month I got to bed earlier than January and February, but it is a shame that I’m not doing as well as in March. However, thinking of the positives I think I’ve shifted my mind so I now want to get to bed before midnight and I’m starting to feel the benefits of getting more sleep, and I’m keen to get more.
There is still considerable variability in the time I go to bed ranging from 21:55 to 01:59, some of the late nights due to some parties so I don’t mind too much. According to our Sense my duration of sleep varied between 4.6 and 10 hours, which is a wider range than February and is more varied than I expected.
Personal development books
I’ve finally completed some personal development books this year. May cause miracles* is a six week course, but has taken me closer to six months to complete, however I’ve now finished it (review to follow). I’ve also read The pursuit of happiness* as part of the BritMums BookClub; was an interesting read although there were no insights for me to apply to my life. I’ve started reading Platform by Michael Hyatt as it was one of the books with the highest votes in my poll.
