Dad woke me up at quarter past 7. Got dressed. Got bus … Was nearly late … History was even more boring than yesterday. Mrs V is getting worse ideas but the material’s nice. Went to netball felt as if I had improved a bit. Maths was boring … Wanted material for pencil case but it was shut … Did homework. Saw mum’s materials really puke. Started on pencil case. Had tea went to bed wrote diary for yesterday as I left it at school.
I love the fact that after writing my diary for close to a week I still felt I had to write that I got dressed. I don’t remember there being an issue with me going to school in my sleep clothes, but I guess getting dressed was a major part of the morning for me!
I use to write like this too. But I used point form because I couldn’t be bothered writing it out in paragraphs. 🙂
Feli,
I am finding it very amusing looking back on my old journals. Its great to see how our writing style changes over time. I wonder if my one long paragraph was connected to having a page a day and worrying about running out of space, whereas now I use a plain book and can write as much or as little as I wish, usually in the form of short paragraphs or bullet points.
