I didn’t write a making progress report for June and I think that says a lot about the lull in enthusiasm I’ve been going through, but hopefully I’m on my back now. I’ve been helping out on several projects at work and it started off at a good level, but towards the end of July it was getting more difficult to juggle so many project in the available time. However having got away from it completely on my sailing holiday has given me the opportunity to re-evaluate my workload and I will be sitting down with my manager next week to discuss it.
Goals – I have a first draft of my goals that I put together a week or so ago. I have looked at them several times and discussed them with my husband and there are just two areas that I’m considering changing slightly.
Fitness – I would like to have done more exercise, but my lack of energy has been in many areas of my life, but I have gone to one exercise class most weeks with my husband. However there was a good patch where I was exercising every other day whether it was going to the gym or going for a walk. I was at the chriopractors on Monday and she said my pelvis has shifted position and if it happens agaiin in the next month she may bar me from doing most exercise, I think I will be down to walking and swimming. Hopefully it happened because of a combination of being on the yacht and being on a training course for a week. My weight increased from 72.4kg to 76.4 to 78.8kg (I know I should be putting on weight at the moment, but that seems like a large increase in the last two months).
Tasks – I’ve been through a few evoltions of my organisation system since the end of May and I am no longer keeping track of how many days behind I am. It feels good not to be watching the record, but whether it means I’m hiding my head in the sand a bit about my progress I’m not sure yet.
Books read – another area that has been impacted by my lack of energy, with 2 books read in June and 1 in July
- The sixth lamentation (Amazon)
