In the last month I feel that I’ve started to complete things for me as well as looking after my daughter, however progress has still been slow so this is a combined post reviewing personal progress as well as activity on my blog.
Blog – I am still slowly making it back to writing on my blog with one post in the last month. One of my biggest problems has been coming up with ideas for what to write about; my days (and therefore my head) are filled with baby and I’m not keen to turn this into a mother and baby blog. However, as I’ve found time to read other blogs during March as well as reviewing my goals I now have a list of topics; so fingers crossed you will see some more posts in the near future. Despite this lack of posting I still had over 180 subscribers at the end of March, which is higher than this time year.
Goals – I have been looking at the first draft of my goals I wrote last year to check they are still relevant after having a baby
Fitness – Exercising was a bit slow at the start of the month, but I’ve picked things up towards the end. Unfortunately I’m not shifting any of my pregnancy weight despite breastfeeding. I currently weigh 77.2 kg, 7kg heavier than this time last year. I have been encouraged to sign up to do a 5km (3 mile) fun run in June to raise money for Cancer Research UK; you can see the money I’ve raised on my blog.
Tasks – I am using Mark Forster’s AutoFocus system. I have 31 open pages, 1 dismissed page and 24 pages still to open.
Referals – The highest number of referrals was from a post I made in February 2008 on Mark Forster’s forum about whether you could combine GTD and Do it tomorrow.

While you may think that progress has been slow you are, at least, making progress and that should be acknowledged. So well done with that. I am astounded at how much you have achieved while at the same time managing to be a parent to a very young baby. And I, for one, don’t think there is anything wrong with blogging about what is on your mind as a parent and carer for a very young person. Wishing you much luck
